From community at uxgraz.at Wed Mar 10 01:02:04 2021 From: community at uxgraz.at (UX Graz Community) Date: Wed, 10 Mar 2021 01:02:04 +0100 Subject: [uxgraz] UX Graz Community Update March / April Message-ID: <014501d71540$9aa0d200$cfe27600$@uxgraz.at> Hello Folks! It?s been a while since our last newsletter and a lot of things happened since then, but, first things first: We hope you had a great start and great two first month in 2021. For everyone who didn?t have the time to join our UX Mas in December or our first meetups, we briefly summarize the most important news Before we start: If you know anything that we should share on our social media channels (jobs opportunities, blog posts, news, podcasts, workshops, events ? anything relevant to UX in the styrian UX community), let us know via: https://forms.gle/FT7bBNHZRwGxzFMv5 --- Highlights --- Our core organization team grew to 4 people: Amy is responsible for our new UX Graz website, which will be launched in March or April ( https://uxgraz.at/ ) Konny supports us by organizing and moderating meetups Niko is responsible for moderation and organization for remote participations for our events (as soon as we go back to local event, we will provide remote participations for people who cannot join our local events) Johannes is still there ? We started to connect with the Austrian UX communities in Linz and Vienna and moved closer together in a single slack channel. If you also want to connect with us, let us know via community at uxgraz.at and we will send you an invite to the uxaustria slack group. Besides that, we are actively participating in the organization of the 24 Hours of UX ( https://24hoursofux.com ) and will have a collaborative session with UX Brisbane as part of the event in June! --- First Events 2021 --- We had a great start in January. Jonas from considerly was talking about UX Research and will provide us a workshop on their tool in summer 2021. February was a little bit stressful: The UX Graz community organized 3 events: (1) our first book club this year on Hooked by Nir Eyal, (2) we tried out a new format: Open Discussion, which we will include in our meetups from now on on a regular basis, since it provides a great opportunity to connect with each other and share your own expertise and knowledge, and (3) our first Tool Workshop took place: after a short keynote by A.J. Wood from Adobe, we had a short hands-on session ? the second one is coming up in April and will give you insights into Uizard, an AI powered prototyping tool. In addition to our events, we had our quarterly organization meeting. >> If you are interested to give back to the community and support us actively, feel free to get in touch via community at uxgraz.at and we will invite you to our organization meetings and internal communication channels.
